Mommy secretly wrote this today & who better to write my about me on #wewantmommy!

If you asked me a year ago if I’d ever write & let others read it, I’d have laughed & said, “Uh never”. Little did I know I’d marry a man as opposite as it gets on the spectrum of sharing his private life publicly, who would make me rethink that. My guy does it happily & with reckless abandon. He does it because he knows even if it’s at his own expense, it may help someone feel a little more normal or make someone “LOL” who hasn’t laughed in awhile. He does it to inspire & to make people consider other points of view. He’s a great voice for those who deserve to have one but are often disregarded. My husband is a heavily tattooed, scotch & beer loving, “hipster” dressing, intense, goofy guy who isn’t scared of the “F” word. This gets him dismissed fairly regularly. But the ones who let him speak or feel he’s “their peoples” find very quickly that he’s a Jesus loving, selfless dreamer, whose passion is people. Blogging is a valuable tool for him to serve others & in watching him pour into it this past year he’s opened my mind to the idea. I don’t know yet if I’ll make a regular thing of sharing via blogging, but occasionally “Daddy” shares a post that begs for a “Mommy’s” side of the story so don’t be surprised if you here from me a time or two. But for now, enjoy his side of our story.
